Other projects and Collaborations

A navigation of the Kafkaesque world of work via tentacular thinking - using prosthetics, clowning, choreography, and found text from Japanese erotic prints - to re-imagine the post-human potential in everyday life.

The Queer Woodchop combines a heritage sport with conceptual smarts in a humourous, sly, yet very sincere, collaborative, and rigorous inquiry into an Aussie cultural spectacle. Softening the often-incongruous blade between rural tradition and radical queer practice, the event will champion Queer and rural festivity and community togetherness.

Baptism

Baptism is a collaboration between Saxophonist, Charlie Sundborn and composer and clarinettist, Solomon Frank. They immerse their wind instruments in the waterways on Cammeraygal, Gadigal, Wangal and Dharug country, using them as conduits for the environmental force of the ocean. Baptism facilitates semi regular outdoor performances to mark the seasons inviting local artists and musicians to perform alongside them, creating community and ceremony around the watery ecologies of Sydney.

Previous performers within the series have included Marcus Whale, Splinter Orchestra, Chloe Kim, Josephine Macken, Holly Conner, Raya Tolentino, Tina Stefanou, Jack Stoneham and Alexandra Spence.
